This may be a bit ambitious so I will try to be as detailed as possible. There are seven separate locations where all-in-one computers are going to be set up as kiosks. The end-game is to have current events and other information streamed to these seven computers. We previously considered Four Winds Interactive prior to my arrival within the department but declined to use them because the project became less of a priority. Now that we have the opportunity to approach this project again, I want to utilize all the latest technology available while potentially saving the school thousands of dollars in the process.

Windows-based applications would be best but Linux-based is absolutely a viable option. The alternative would have to be completely editable once set up. I would like it to be fully customizable but that is not a main factor.

Additionally, it would have to be pretty much dummy proof. Essentially, I am going to set up the process and confirm it is working perfectly and then train individuals to use it properly. If the computers are set up with Windows, I would like to be able to utilize Access Control mode under Windows 8.1 so the application would have to be capable with that.
