Hi all, as the title suggests I’m thinking about making the switch to a xone k2 over my NI X1 mk2. A bit about me I’m at about a hobby/intermediate level of skill, playing progressive and tech at friends parties and doofs now and again, but mostly for my own enjoyment. For the most part I use Traktor through my A&H PX5 but I collect a bit of jazz/funk/soul etc vinyl to spin at home. I’m interested in picking up a K2 because I like the idea of being able to run 4 channels off one small midi controller, but I’m also intrigued by the layer function and how I could use it to incorporate some loops, one-shots and accapellas etc into my mixes to keep it interesting. I guess I’m just wanting to get in touch with anyone else here that might have a similar setup and chat about their workflow, and whether a K2 might be suitable.
